This is everything I want out of a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the food is amazing by my taste. My go-to is either the super burritos or the super nachos, both served as larger than average sizes! Although the interior is not super fancy or interesting, it is far from dirty and the tables inside are always clean. I get food from here a few times a month and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal for a good price!

This is the real deal!! The food is made from scratch. Clean - fresh, and yummy!! You get big juicy chunks of meat on your plate. Rather that small pre. cut meat that looks like cat food. The food is the bomb!!!

Love this place. Some of the tastiest authentic Mexican food in Ventura. My favorites are the pastor tacos and pastor burrito. I also love the taquitos, spicy shrimp, fish tacos, loaded nachos, and pozole on the weekends. And the different salsas they offer are all amazing!

During my stay in Ventura, I discovered a small Mexican restaurant in a strip mall right across the street from my motel. This little eatery served up a variety of favorites including quesadillas, ceviche, fish tacos, and my go-to, the Carne Asada burrito. When I walked up to order, the girl behind the counter didn't look too thrilled to be there. No attitude or anything, but the vibe she gave off was pure "No quiero estar aquí." However, let me tell you, the Carne Asada burrito more than made up for the RBF (Resting Bored Face). That burrito was increíble! The meat was perfectly crispy around the edges, just the way I like it. To top it off, the salsa added an extra kick with its spicy, flavorful goodness. It was a meal to remember. So, if you can overlook the less-than-enthusiastic greeting, you're in for a real treat with their Carne Asada burrito. ¡Vale la pena!

High quality and tasty. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. I have enjoyed their Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Carne Asada burritos. Every time I have been pleased with the quality and spice. It is true they only offer two salsa cups, but you can refill the cups if you need more. I find I do refill one cup with mild salsa, but only need one fill of their spicy salsa. I'm a fan of their food. I think about it as my week progresses. When am I going to try it next? I've only had their burritos so far, but the other menu items I see on tables look really tasty. Especially the soups. I recommend this place. Good people there too.

This place is literally a hidden gem. I am always skeptical on trying menudo or pozole at new Mexican locations, but decided to give this place a try (didn't want to wait an hour for the other restaurant I was planning on going to to open). I went around 9am with my wife (yes they are open that early on weekends. The food was amazing. Hands down, best pozole I've had in awhile and the menudo was also delicious. My wife and I tried each others food. She also ordered the juevos rancheros and I had the chorizo with papas burrito. Every single good item was amazingly good. You won't be disappointed eating here. Whoever is making the food in that kitchen makes it with love! I will definitely be back....most likely this weekend!

First off, so good! We ordered : Taquitos plate with rice and beans. I wish it came with sour cream but I'm sure I can add it next time. I love that it comes with the lettuce and guac. Added the green sauce on the taquitos and it was exactly what I needed! Perfect crunch and not soggy . Asada burrito with no rice was good too. They also serve beer by the bottle and can which was a plus in my books!
